We need your help

My husband, Artist Jamison Carter and I moved our family of four to Altadena, CA nine years ago. We found a sweet spot in a foothill community with ample space for a studio, raising a family and being close to nature. On January 7th, 2025, we evacuated the area only to find that our home and art studios were completely burned to the ground the next morning.

It has been exactly a month since the Eaton Canyon fire destroyed almost 5,000 single dwelling homes, countless small businesses, churches, schools- basically an entire town. While we hope to rebuild- and continue our work as artists, parents, educators, and community members- the loss is devastating, deep and painful.

Currently, we have found a rental for a year with space to make art again in an area called La Canada Flintridge- not far from our home. To those that have supported us and continue to support us whether it be from our Go Fund Me campaign, food deliveries, furniture loans, hugs, and so on- your contributions are meaningful and we thank you.
